The good ol' ball and chain. Euphemism pun! Very nice expressiveness.

The kid attitude made me chuckle, specially the dog one. Colors are pleasing and gestures work great. You could throw down some simple shadow shapes to ground them better.

Damn is really interesting to see stylized drawings with that 3D rendered look! This one is my favorite so far those mech pincers are buttery smooth.

My fav so far due to expressiveness and mood.

Oddlem responds:

OMG thank youu!! I'm glad you think so, I wanted it to be all foreboding!

A damn I really liked the golem hunched over gesture. Carrying the world on it's shoulders. Also the sword tip wink to a crown! Great design.
Question would be what stops the golem from using the sword to defeat it's master and rule in it's stead? I'm rooting for it.

jouste responds:

the big rules that no golem can be king! it's a brutal shame. thanks for the kind words and score! <3

*highfives

Red Hot Iron Damn! You could push the dark at some points but It rocks. But hammer against tongue! Need a cutting weapon for that. Not gonna get the extra carves.
Sorry, bad puns everywhere.

It's pretty damn impressive. I think if you want more punch you could play some smart gradations for occlusion/light decay below the robe mainly even go to black, but no clue it reads darn well right now I might be wrong.
Maybe another thing could be mixing some of the light bouncing from other things inside shadows, play around with shadow colors/vibrancy? Usually brings a lot of playfulness and belief to a piece.

cyangorilla responds:

Yo thank you! I'll think about these points in future pieces. Particularly getting more colors into shadows.

Really liked the face style and upper torso gesture, the feet turned inwards on martial arts are a stance that is used for defense, whenever I see it I think of playing it safe so it goes a bit against the upper body forward attack laughing vibe.
The magical effects could be more interesting also if you want more punch you can just add a background flat tone or gradation and use glows for them, against white they lose some of the kick.

Mastafran responds:

I was going for an overconfidence look for Fiore. I've been flying on the seat of my pants with designing this character and looking back, I'm not as happy as I could be about her character design because she's not villainous enough. The background effects a smarter idea, though I do want to do something more interesting with the magic like adding sigils or runes or something to give her a more personalize spell casting look.

Spot on aesthetics.

Been nowhere and done nothing but still trying to get somewhere.
I enjoy talking disparate ideas, and tend to overdo it with the jokes.
