Those watercolors are pretty damn tight man.

Gekasso responds:

Thank you!

The non-conformity of egg vision appeals to me. Thumbs up!

BastianConst responds:

Thank - you :)
I am glad people are open to seeing the world through eggs

Frogs are evolving so quickly! Already cooking their food and growing fire peppers damn.
Dope idea btw! Took me a bit to figure that the frog must be on a wall? Or the snail, well they are on different planes, you could draw like some details on each plane to signal they are different surfaces, like if there are pebbles or one is stone, the other wood.

Gekasso responds:

Thanks!
Yes, you're right, I'm still a little afraid to paint big background areas, but at least I should have defined this part more clearly with texture and some details, not just different angles of shadows.

Holy cow that detail and read. You could had added something like an holographic UI hoovering in front although I think she's looking at her hand or the light shining on it? Beautiful.

clayscence responds:

thank you so much! yes, she's looking at her hand :) but it'd be a good idea to addthe ui

It has an art nouveau feel, only missing a frame! Love it.

clayscence responds:

thank you so much!

Damn the forms read so well! And you really get the feel of being sunken into something. Only thing it might give you another edge is reflections but that depends on what that stuff is, ha!

Ploobul responds:

I did actually experiment with reflections, but everything I tried seemed to cheapen the final image a bit and wasn't worth the effort since it was only intended to be a quick 20m thing to distract myself from my main thing.

The incredible melting man (1977)!

jouste responds:

i actually saw that show when I was really young, and i know that it's kind of a funny horror show, but at the end when he's melting against the wall and the yare sending more astronauts to space to get the same problem I cried like crazy haha.

*retro highfives

Damn! It took me a second but I finally understood that the fish glowing net is from like a six pack ring ha ha ha. Brilliant. Honestly seeing that the trident you could had gone for like a trash picker design influence? Although a trident does enable you to pick trash also ha ha. Perfect.

jouste responds:

hah yeah that's true, but he's not really "cleaning up" the trash. he's powering up from it! I also wanted him to have some more symbols of who he used to be.

*highfives

Things I liked better on the early sketch where that she's on top of him squashing his head almost (shape design) and the spiraling inner chest circle. For the title entwined you could had make her kinda be threaded like him, so they are actually "entwined" in the same situation, now reads more like control over something. Puppet strings.
Otherwise rad idea what inspired you to do it?

Edit: A damn I can't answer you back ha ha. Alright so I read entwined as in twin not twine ha ha, my bad! You good.

A-lieN responds:

My name game is lacking lol, thb I just looked up similar words to strings and picked the one I liked best. The initial sketches had a girl on his back, but that wasn't really making the composition vertical enough, so I just made her stand on his head/neck, the rest just came together.

My fav so far due to expressiveness and mood.

Oddlem responds:

OMG thank youu!! I'm glad you think so, I wanted it to be all foreboding!

Been nowhere and done nothing but still trying to get somewhere.
I enjoy talking disparate ideas, and tend to overdo it with the jokes.
